K-Tron Seminar Description
K-Tron SCM Controls Plus Feeder Maintenance, Operation and Troubleshooting
Topics covered by all participants:
System Overview: Identify and define your system components and how they function together.
Operations: Demonstrate how to properly program, operate and calibrate your K-Tron feeding system using your K-Tron user interface.
Feeder Mechanics: Demonstrate how to identify any mechanical problems and then demonstrate how to perform any necessary mechanical repairs or maintenance.
Weighing Systems: Demonstrate how to test your weighing system for proper communications with the control system. Test and calibrate your weighing system to establish an accurate and repeatable weighing system.
SCM Control: Demonstrate how to setup, calibarate and test your motor control system using equipment such as a multimeter and oscilloscope. This covers DC, vibratory and stepper drives. Validate speed pick-up operation.
SCM Electronics: Demonstrate how to identify any problems related with the SCM electronics. Use diagnostic LEDs and other tools to identify hardware problems. You will perform software upgrades using a PC and loader. You will also work with user interfaces. ParamStore will be introduced.
SCM LON Communication Interfaces: Demonstrate proper configuration of the LON network using a PC and software tools provided. Configure I/O modules.
SCM Communication with External Devices: Demonstrate, using SmartConfig, how to design, configure and test any communications tht you use between your SmartConnex Control System.
